Pedro Cabrita Reis will be the guest artist of the XXV edition of EstampaThe next edition of Estampa, which will be held from September 21 to 24, 2017 in Matadero Madrid, will have as guest artist Pedro Cabrita Reis (Lisbon, 1956), a reference in Portugal and much admired throughout the international artistic field. Cabrita Reis, who in Spain is represented by the Galería Juana de Aizpuru, addresses in his works issues such as space, architecture and memory through powerful visual metaphors, using various techniques, procedures and supports.
The 25-year-old fair will also feature three international programs, the forum "The evolution of contemporary art in Spain from the transition to the present", which will review the past and the development of contemporary art in our country, and the general program , In which Spanish galleries and some other European countries will participate. The Advisory Committee, in charge of selecting galleries, is made up of commissioners Lorena Martinez de Corral, Alicia Ventura and Guillermo Espinosa and collectors Luis Caballero, Fernando Panizo, José Antonio Trujillo and Francisco Jaramillo, who join the committee this year.
